Our Story

On extended trips to Europe in the 1990's I found an immediate connection to the shops, boutiques and cafes in France and Italy. On my regular stops in Paris and the South of France I began to see the strong ties businesses had to their customers and suppliers, in French "les human relations".

Armed with my European experiences and a desire to create a new retail venture Public I was formed, a client-centered place providing travel and fashion goods for the modern urban lifestyle. Along the way we have grown to add services including wardrobe consultation, travel planning and personal shopper services.
