Welcome to end of summer!

I know that that may not sound like a happy statement, but I want to let you know the good news--fall looks great! Yes, the bad news is that our days at the local beach are numbered (and we're talking single digits here), but I console myself with the beautiful colors, textures and patterns of fall. And trust me, there is plenty of great stuff that can be your consolation prize too.

Right now we have loads of new merchandise in the store--sophisticated plaids from Gavin and LaRok, soft corduroy in skirts and pants from G1, rich colors and sumputous drape in tees and cardigans from Grassroots and ISDA & Co, sheer tees to be layered under or over from Z Brand, Ogle and Language LA to name a few. In short, the clothes this fall are very wearable for everyone--you don't need to be depriving yourself of that brownie in order to look smashing.

Goodbye Dull Black Heavy Suitcase... Hello Rimowa!

On a recent trip I realized it was time to shed the old back-breaker of a suitcase I have grown to know (and hate) and search for a better way.
